About Me
I am a high school Math and French teacher in the Chicago Public School system. My name is Mrs. Delora Washington. My school is Corliss Early College STEM High School. My school became the STEM high school for the Southside of Chicago a few years ago. Just as my school is transforming itself, I also am transforming.
This site documents some of my transformation as I endeavor to become the best Math, French, and STEM teacher that I can be.
In this photo, I am on the left and my STEM Fellow, Libby Robertson, is on the right. We are outside of the restaurant, 360, and we love the paradox in their sidewalk sign.

What program
is this for? |
For help with my transformation, especially as it relates to STEM, I applied to and was accepted by the Michigan State University - WIPRO STEM Fellowship. Many of the beginning documents that you will find here are a result of the various assignments and projects that I will complete in this program during my year long transformation.
The rest will be my continuation of this transformation because we all know that learning never ends. May we all continue to learn new things and continually improve on who we are! |
